Dear prospective patients
Whenever I hear something from my patients, “Mr. Lee, you are the best acupuncturist and healer I have ever seen, you cured me.” I say to myself, “Don’t brag yourself, real treatment and healing is not on my hand but from the love, compassion to the patient.” On the course of many treatments through my clinical experiences, I have realized pride is the greatest enemy but only modesty and goodwill to help patients greatly contributes to the healing of patients.I am licensed acupuncturist having many years of practical clinical experiences in acupuncture field plus 4 years of military medical career. My career as an acupuncturist started from South Korea since 2002, when I met a grandmaster Choi who created the Myung Mun acupuncture institute, which many Korean acupuncturists followed and learned from. I had learned best acupuncture techniques from him as apprenticeship through 3 years in Korea and Graduated Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in California pursuing academic education to be an American acupuncturist. I had many special clinical experiences in Korea through missionary works and voluntary services under the supervision of Grandmaster Choi, and other Korean oriental medicine doctors.
My specialty is not only pain management dealing with different kinds of pain, especially Upper/Lower Back, Shoulder/Arm, Knee, Neck Pain, Bells Palsy, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Fibromyalgia, Sciatica, Headache, Auto Injury/Whiplash but also internal problems including indigestion, allergies, skin problem, atopic dermatitis, sinusitis, rhinitis and gynecological problems including PMS and menopausal symptoms. I have been researching magnetic acupuncture with Myungmun Grandmaster Choi and other members as a complementary tool to enhance the effectiveness of traditional acupuncture therapy. I am also attending at American College of Traditional Chinese medicine in San Francisco, California for doctoral degree specialized in Pain Management and Gynecology. Actually I had worked in Chicago pain & rehabilitation clinic with other health care providers such as medical doctor, chiropractic doctor, physical therapist. I took 20 to 30 patients per day and dealt with many cases successfully. After many months of invaluable experiences of clinical career in Chicago, I was enlisted in the U.S. army for the country and myself in 2009. I had been doing my best, taking care of patients cooperated with other medical providers in the military clinic. I got many great experiences to help suffering soldiers with my acupuncture treatment in the field. I make it sure those 4 years of service in the U.S. Army will be a momentum for my clinical career as an acupuncturist. I am proud of myself for serving the country, helping soldiers, getting U.S. citizen in the army.
On March 2014, I settled down in Blue Springs, Missouri with my family and opened URDAroma Acupuncture Pain Care Clinic returning from several months of Medical missionary trip for treating poor people in Haiti and Dominican Republic after I finished my military service honorably.“To serve and save.”, which is my motto in my life. I would like to help suffering patients with the best knowledge and love.
